A check-engine light on a European car deserves better than a generic code reader. We use the same factory-grade diagnostic platforms the dealership uses, so we can trace a fault to its actual cause — a failing sensor, a vacuum leak, a timing issue — instead of replacing parts until something works.

From oil services with the correct approval-spec oil to timing components, cooling systems, turbochargers and major engine repairs, every job is quoted in writing before we start and backed by our 2-year warranty on major work.

What's included

  • Factory-grade computer diagnostics
  • Oil & timing services, leak repair
  • Cooling system & turbo work
  • Major engine repair — 2-yr warranty

COMMON QUESTIONS

Engine & Diagnostics — FAQs

Is it safe to drive with the check engine light on?

A steady light is usually an emissions or sensor fault — drivable, but have it read within a few days before a small issue grows. A flashing light means an active misfire that can destroy the catalytic converter: pull over and call us before driving further.

How much does a car diagnostic test cost?

A free parts-store scan only names the code — it cannot tell you why it set. We quote factory-grade diagnosis up front, in writing, and it is the cheapest part of any repair: it is what keeps you from paying for parts the car never needed.

Why is my check engine light on if the car runs fine?

Most emissions faults — a loose gas cap, a purge valve, an aging oxygen sensor — do not change how the car drives. They do hurt fuel economy and can hide a second fault behind them, so the light still deserves a proper read.

Do European cars need special diagnostic equipment?

Yes. A generic OBD reader sees a fraction of the modules in a Mercedes, BMW, Audi or Porsche. We use the same factory-level platforms the dealership uses — the difference between guessing at codes and tracing the actual fault.
