Do European cars really need special oil?
Yes — approval-spec oil, not just the right viscosity. Mercedes 229.x, BMW Longlife, VW 504/507 and Porsche A40 approvals exist because timing chains, turbos and emissions systems depend on them. The wrong jug of generic synthetic is how timing chains stretch early.
How often should I change the oil?
Factory intervals stretch to 10,000 miles, but Florida heat and short trips count as severe service. For longevity we recommend 5,000–7,500 miles on most European engines — and we will give you an honest interval for how your car is actually used.
What is Mercedes Service A/B or BMW Inspection?
The factory-bundled maintenance packages — oil, filters, fluids and checks on a fixed schedule. We perform them to the letter with approval-spec materials and update your digital service record, exactly like the dealer, at an independent price.
Does independent servicing void my warranty?
No. Federal law (Magnuson-Moss) protects your right to independent service as long as the factory schedule is followed and documented. We keep the records and update the digital service history, so there is never a question.
