"Lifetime fluid" rarely means what owners hope it means. Regular transmission fluid exchanges with the correct specification fluid are the cheapest insurance a German gearbox can get, and we perform them to factory procedure.

When something does go wrong, we repair mechatronic units and valve bodies, replace clutches, service driveshafts and differentials, and diagnose the mounts and vibrations that other shops chase in circles.

What's included

  • Transmission service & fluid exchange
  • Mechatronic / valve-body repair
  • Clutch, driveshaft & differential
  • Mounts & vibration diagnosis

COMMON QUESTIONS

Transmission & Drivetrain — FAQs

How do I know if my transmission is slipping?

The engine revs climb but the car does not accelerate to match, shifts flare or bang, or there is a pause when selecting Drive. Caught early this can be a fluid service or software fix; ignored for weeks it becomes a rebuild. The gap between those two bills is enormous.

Do automatic transmissions really have lifetime fluid?

"Lifetime fill" means the lifetime of the warranty, not of the car. The German manufacturers themselves service these units — we recommend a fluid and filter service around every 50,000–60,000 miles. It is the single best thing you can do for transmission longevity.

What is a mechatronic unit?

The valve body and control computer living inside the transmission — the usual suspect behind harsh shifts and limp mode on BMW, Mercedes and Audi automatics. It can often be repaired or replaced on its own, at a fraction of the full transmission swap a dealership may quote.

Is it cheaper to rebuild or replace a transmission?

It depends on what failed. A worn clutch pack points to a rebuild; a damaged case points to replacement. We diagnose first, then quote both paths in writing so you decide with real numbers — never a guess.

Your car deserves the very best.
