Audi / VW

There's a factory bulletin for some models where the NVLD pressure switch itself falsely reports a small leak — the fix is the updated switch and filter, not chasing plumbing. In one documented A6 2.0T case, a new OEM gas cap and purge valve changed nothing; the leak detection pump was the real fault. If your Audi or VW sets P0456 and a smoke test finds nothing, the NVLD unit is the prime suspect.

BMW / Mini
